Myer has taken a new direction this season. Can you tell us about that?
The catwalk in general is a take on the advertising campaign - it's really pulled back.
It's raw, it's modern and it's edgy. It's a step forward. I love what they've done with it - and I think it will really resonate with a lot of people.
What's your favourite piece from the new season?
The Toni Maticevski pants, which I opened the show in. Pretty much all of Toni's collection never fail to impress! I just love his stuff.
I also really like White Suede's collection; there's a lot of great dresses in there. And I love the Arthur Galan jumpsuit I wear in the catwalk show too. It feels like a representation of the 70s vibe we've got going on this season.

What goes through your head when you're walking down the runway?
The opener is always special for me. It always feels terrific walking out - you have so much adrenalin going through you! I go with the beat of the music. I don't have a mantra or anything. I just find that I naturally get into it with the rhythm coming through the speakers. It's almost like an out of body experience. I get to showcase all these beautiful designs so I get into character for it.
You're still Australia's only Miss Universe from the last four decades. How does that make you feel?
Yeah I couldn't believe it when I head that! I was blown away. I feel really honoured. It's very special.
Tyra Banks was out here recently to film Australia's Next Top Model with you. What was that like?
She's great! She was so feisty and bought a really good energy on the set. I really loved having her around. She's a great business woman, so she was a real role model for the girls.
What's the best piece of advice she gave?
She really catered to each individual girl - it was perfectly tailored. The girls were just amazed to be in her presence.
If you could have dinner with one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Kathy Ireland. She's a really amazing model turned business woman. I would love to pick her brains!
