Princess Mary Wears Carla Zampatti In Official Portrait

While Princess Mary and Prince Frederick of Denmark are decidedly more lowkey than their counterparts across the pond, an official portrait of the couple is currently making headlines.

Taken by court photographer Franne Voigt at the couple's official residence, the images show the Prince and Princess in their living room dressed to the nines in Royal attire.

Of note is Princess Mary's soft pink gown, which was created by Australian designer, Carla Zampatti.

"I am so proud," commented Zampatti of the occasion.

Mary's parure set, which comprises tiara, necklace, earrings and ring, originally belonged to Frederik's grandmother Queen Ingrid, and was given to Mary as a wedding gift.
