Highlights from MBFWA 2014 Day 1

Most talked about show: Alex Perry. The designer landed himself a major coup by getting Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio to open his runway show. FYI: She’s just as stunning in the flesh.

Famous front row faces: Gerard Butler had the ladies talking at the ELLERY show, while Sarah Murdoch showed her support for Alex Perry and Emma Lung made an appearance in the afternoon.

What everyone was wearing: Hemlines have lowered this season, so there were plenty of full skirts and longer dresses. Think ladylike with a definitive edge via sky high heels and on-trend bags.
