What’s the inspiration behind your spring/summer collection?
Inspiration was drawn from the timeless sophistication of Palm Springs California, it’s such a unique destination with retro geometric architecture preserved since the '70s. Channeling the quintessential American vacation in an unsuspecting desert paradise where there is not beach to be found and poolside attire is a way of life which lends itself to a sporty- luxe casual elegance.

In your opinion, what are some of the big trends we can expect to see on the catwalk at MBFWA?
The sporty luxe trend is still quite prevalent but with a more sophisticated feel that will be elvated by techo, laser cut fabrics and sheer paneling. Bold graphic floral prints with fuchsia and lilacs and white on white will also be strong.

How important is social media to you during fashion week, ie, will you be glued to twitter and instagram?
Social media is a very strong tool to communicate our brand developments to our followers. With Mercedes Benz fashion week being a trade industry event, social media is a consumer's front row and behind the scenes pass in real time.

What are you most looking forward to at fashion week this year?
We can’t wait to unveil a synopsis of our Spring Ready To Wear , Resort and our Swimwear collections in an amazing set .
Suboo has evolved so much since our launch and this show will encapsulate all that that the brand has to offer in the coming seasons.

What will you be doing after fashion week wraps?
Getting ready to launch our full swimwear line for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Miami in JULY.
