If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to walk down the runway at fashion week, Cara Delevingne has the answer.

The supermodel posted a cheeky Instagram video of herself making faces at her phone as she strutted her stuff at the Giles show in London.

“It’s about to happen, it’s about to happen,” she says before the first video. “Oh my gosh, the first live video from a catwalk.”
The model can be seen sticking her tongue out at the camera before she gets back to business on the runway, adopting a serious face for the photographers.

“The first video live from the catwalk!!! @guineapiggiles @kegrand @thelovemagazine #EPIC #giles,” Delevingne posted on Instagram.

The runway seems like utter chaos judging from Delevingne’s video: the model has to contend with camera constant camera flashes while she simultaneously films herself. Delevingne is fast becoming known as one of the most social savvy supermodels to date, with the 21-year old boasting over 4 million followers on Instagram.

Her quirky sense of humour and penchant for pulling faces makes her seem both approachable and relatable, a point which hasn’t gone unnoticed by fashion advertisers.

"Cara's dynamic personality comes through in her pictures and her social presence is simply another way that she shares it," said a spokesperson for DKNY.

This season, international fashion week has upped the ante significantly when it comes to technology. Later this week, Fendi is expected to use drones at its show, which will enable fans to view the runway in real-time via unprecedented aerial shots.

It seems only a matter of time before models start wearing Go-Pros down the runway.
