Yahoo Lifestyle Victoria's Secret Show Moving To London
Mark your diaries: the annual Victoria’s Secret lingerie show will be held on December 2 in London.
Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel announced the surprising news at the brand’s London Bond Street store this morning.
"The Victoria's Secret fashion show is the biggest fashion event in the world,” said Lima. “We are very proud and honoured to announce that we're headed to London this year."
Victoria's Secret chief marketing officer Ed Razek added that the brand had wanted to show in London since 1998, with previous shows taking place primarily in New York.
It’s good news for British supermodel Cara Delevingne, who’s reportedly already been told to make sure she’s free to walk in the show.
The news also has industry insiders speculating that Delevingne may be named this year’s ‘head Angel’, an honour previously bestowed upon Miranda Kerr and Gisele Bundchen.
