Mandy Moore Shares Relatable Parenting Moment About Restless Toddlers: ‘I’m About to Go Crazy'
“This is not sustainable," the actress said while documenting her kids up in the early morning hours
Mandy Moore is highlighting a relatable parenting moment.
On Saturday, Nov. 23, the actress, 40, admitted in a candid Instagram Stories post that she was going “crazy” while tending to her sons August "Gus," 3, and Oscar "Ozzie," 2, in the middle of the night.
“Guys. What do I do to get my toddlers to not wake up at 4:30 and then stay up?” Moore wrote alongside a photo of herself looking tired and stressed.
“I’m about to go crazy. This is not sustainable,” she added.
Alongside her two sons, Moore also shares daughter Louise "Lou" Everett with husband Taylor Goldsmith.
Moore next posted a second photo of her son Gus in his pajamas, playing with toys in a hallway with the light on in their home.
“I came downstairs to him playing with his toys,” the mom of three explained in a caption over the photo. “Lights on. Cool cool cool.”
Moore then expressed her appreciation for those who shared parenting advice with her. “Thanks to those of you who reminded me it's a phase. Seems like many friends have been through this or going through it,” she wrote.
The Tangled star added that she was sick and her husband Goldsmith, 39, was out of town — adding to her stress in dealing with their three kids at home by herself.
“Oooof. Being super sick, with a newborn and a husband OOT. I’m ready for the next phase lol,” she said.

Moore announced the arrival of her latest addition on Instagram on Sept. 25.
"Lou is here! … She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are already as obsessed with her as we are. Endlessly grateful for our family of 5 (and our very own big three) and soaking in every moment of this special time. 💓💓💓,” she wrote in her caption.

Moore recently chatted with PEOPLE about preparing for her first Christmas as a family of five.
“I am fully channeling my Rebecca Pearson these days," she said, referencing her beloved This is Us character. "I don't know how she did it all, quite frankly."
"We're soaking up this special moment. It just feels dreamy," Moore continued, adding that "it's very, very sweet" to watch her babies bond with each other so quickly.
