Images have been released of a man police believe can help with their inquiries into an alleged assault at a busy Sydney train station that left the victim missing a tooth.
NSW Police released the stills from CCTV footage on Thursday, showing a caucasian man, aged in his early 20s, of a medium build, with black hair.
He’s also wearing a grey Nike hoodie, black shorts, a black hat and red shoes.
The images were taken on the night of September 1 at Strathfield Railway Station. Police allege a 26-year-old man was waiting on the platform when he was assaulted about 10pm by an unknown male.
The man had a tooth knocked out in the attack and had to be treated for injuries to his mouth and face.
Auburn Police Area Command officers are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Anonymous reports can also be made online.
