This article is brought to you by Kim Crawford Wines, but the hack has been road-tested and recorded by the Yahoo Lifestyle Australia editorial team.

Is there anything more lovely than an Instagrammable glass of rosè with your pals on a hot day?

Yes way rosè. Frosè on the go, whether it’s hosting a brunch at your place or catching up with the girls at a chic picnic in the park, we have just the trick for drinking rosè in a whole new elegant way.

We know it’s impossible to zap some ice and rosè in your kitchen with a blender when you’re on the go. So, we’ve figured out a way to make the cocktail either on the beach or out with friends, without an electrical appliance.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 x bottle rosè (we prefer Kim Crawford’s Hawkes Bay Rosè)

  • 1 x bag of ice

  • 1 x shaker of salt

  • 1 x medium-sized plastic sandwich bag

  • 1 x large-sized plastic sandwich bag

  • 1 x teatowel

Shake, shake, SHAKE!
Shake, shake, SHAKE!

Optional:

  • 1 x duct tape

  • 1 x scissors

  • Fruit or garnish of your choice

It’s preferable to pack the wine and ice in a mini esky but it isn’t the end-of-the-world if you don’t have one.

Here’s the method to making your own frothy frozè by hand:

  • Fill the medium-sized plastic sandwich bag with one glass of rosè, make sure all of the air is out of the baggy, and snap-lock it shut. This is where you can choose to tape it shut with duct tape, but it’s not totally necessary.

  • Fill the large-sized plastic sandwich bag with ice, shake salt over the ice. You’re going to want to use a lot of salt, perhaps 10 percent of the filling.

  • Place the bag of rosè into the bag of ice. Snap-lock it shut.

  • Shake, shake, SHAKE! You might want to wrap the bag in a tea towel as it gets quite cold.

  • Keep shaking! Go for five minutes if you can. Think of it as a toning exercise for your arms.

  • Pour the slushie into a cup.

  • Enjoy!

If it’s a super hot day and your slushie melts quickly, pop some fresh ice in the cup with a couple of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. A luxurious take on a classic beverage.
