Married At First Sight star Connie Crayden appears to have left her days as a brunette reality TV bride behind her after debuting a brand new ‘quirky’ hair ‘do on Instagram.

Connie, who ‘married’ Jonethen Musulin on the Channel Nine show earlier this year, is now rocking a radical half-and-half style look after dying her fringe and part of the front section of her hair platinum blonde.

The marine biology student treated her 125k or so fans to a post-salon snap on Saturday, explaining that she was after a style that was ‘more me’.

“Okay about my hair. Last week I went back to see the talented hair wizard @hairbytaylorhague at @blondeand.co. I told her I need something a bit quirky, something that's more me.... she did not disappoint,” Connie captioned the pic.

The 27-year-old’s followers flooded the comments with praise for her hair.

“Woahhh Connie this hair is epic!! Looks so good on you,” wrote one.

“Wow Connie, that looks great!!! The blonde framing your face is so soft and beautiful. Really suits you,” said another.

Some fans even compared Connie’s new look to pop superstar Dua Lipa and X-Men character Rogue, both of whom are known for rocking similar styles.

It even got the tick of approval from several of her MAFS co-stars including Tash Herz and Liz Sobinoff.

It’s not the first time Connie has experimented with her hair colour — back in 2014, she shared several snaps of her blonde long bob.

In April, Connie and fellow MAFS bride Mishel Karen raised eyebrows during an Instagram Live chat where they revealed they were “characters on a TV show”.

“It's not just heroes and villains. You are characters on a TV show. You play a character on a TV show. That I cannot stress enough,” Connie warned those who might be interested in signing up for the show.
