MAFS' Ryan is ‘dating’ Sophie Monk
He’s previously confessed to having a bit of a crush on former Bachelorette star Sophie Monk.
But now Married At First SIght’s Ryan Gallagher is claiming he’s actually “dating” the star and that they’ve been in close contact whilst she films Australia’s Love Island in Spain.
“He said to me that he’s been dating Sophie Monk and that they’re official,” an insider tells Be. “They talk for hours on the phone.”
“Ryan also said it was radio presenter Jackie O who set the pair up,” they add.
“I asked him, ‘It must be great having all this female attention,’ and he responded with ‘I’m taken now.'”
It’s not the first time we’ve heard whispers these two could be getting close.
In March, Woman’s Day reported that Ryan’s parents were trying to play cupid and were doing their best to set up the reality stars, saying that she’d be the perfect match for their son.
And it seems Ryan himself agrees and secretly always had a soft spot for Soph.
Last year, the Sydney-based tradie admitted she’d be the perfect girl for him.
“My ideal girl is Sophie Monk,” the 29-year-old told The Fix.
“I love a girl that’s just herself and who doesn’t have to wear makeup all the time.”
Be reached out to Sophie’s reps who have since shut down rumours that she’s dating him saying, “She isn’t dating anyone”.
Ryan’s reps are still yet to confirm nor deny the dating rumours.
