MAFS' Matt is no longer a 29-year-old virgin
He confessed to being a 29-year-old virgin when marrying TV wife Lauren Huntriss on Married at First Sight.
But after last night’s episode that’s no longer the case for Matthew Bennett.
The newlyweds enjoyed a few nights away on their honeymoon, and revealed on the final night they took “things to the next level”.
“Last night, I lost my virginity,” Matthew told viewers, and it seems their relationship is blossoming as a result.
Things weren’t all smooth sailing of course. The night before, an ‘intimate’ bath with his new wife ended up stressing Matthew out so much that the pair ended up in the emergency room.
“Loz sat with me the whole night. I felt really supported and as weird as it sounds, I’m so incredibly grateful for it. I think, if anything, it’s actually brought us closer together,” he said.
Indeed it did.

The MAFS star celebrated another major milestone over the weekend, ringing in his 30th birthday in style.
Taking to Instagram stories, the reality star shared a delicious birthday cake decorated with the number 30-shaped sparkler candles.
Meanwhile fellow MAFS stars shared lovely messages for Matt underneath a photo of him with a new beard.
“Happy Bday handsome,” wrote TV wife Lauren.
“Happy birthday Matthew you gorgeous man,” penned Ines Basic, while Cameron Merchant said, “Love your work greatman! Happiest of birthdays! Beards looking sensational!”

During their wedding Matt mustered up the courage to tell Lauren he had yet to have sex.
“For me, honesty is very important,” he said.
“I feel like there’s something I want to tell you and something you should know about me… I’ve sort of been on the fence about whether or not I should tell you because you know it’s been weighing on me a bit, it’s a big thing,” he continued.
After telling Lauren he’s “actually still a virgin”, Matt was relieved that his new wife didn’t see this as a deal-breaker.
“I want to be able to trust you and have a deeper connection before we do something like that,” she assured him.
