MAFS' Martha spotted 'photoshopping' Instagram selfie

Married at First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis is getting the Kim Kardashian treatment on Instagram after posting a selfie which left fans scratching their heads.

The snap in question sees the 30-year-old pose for a mirror selfie in a crop top and black bike shorts, with some of her 277k followers questioning whether the image had been altered to reduce Martha’s ‘thigh gap’.

Cottoning-on to some of tell-tale signs, one person wrote, “Um did you not fix your left leg? And the pointy elbow. F**k me that’s a bad Photoshop lol”.

“Martha you Photoshopped your right leg a bit too much,” added another.

The criticism appears to have been directed at the oddly-curved vase which borders Martha’s elbow and a blurry thigh which almost fades into the room’s coffee table.

Others continued to prod at whether Martha’s thigh gap had undergone digital enhancement, pointing out that the table’s edge wasn’t straight.

But despite copping criticism, the MAFS star had her usual band of supporters on hand to feed through a stream of compliments to their reality TV favourite.

“You are that hot it’s too much to handle,” wrote one follower.

“I literally thought you were Kim Kardashian till I saw your user name,” added another, offering up the ultimate comparison.

Of course, the Kardashians have regularly been called out on social media for making modifications to their photos.

Martha declined to comment on whether or not the post was altered when contacted by Yahoo Lifestyle.

However she later posted an Instagram story in her underwear where she told followers only ‘haters would say’ her pictures are photoshopped.
