As Married at First Sight buzz wraps up for another year, many of the show’s cast have well and truly moved on from the expert-arranged relationships seen on the series.

For most, this has meant finding flings elsewhere, likely encouraged by their newly single, and largely elevated, social status.

But an unexpected twosome have reportedly found comfort in each other’s arms, with Lauren Huntriss and Billy Vincent spotted locking lips during a night out in Sydney at the weekend.

The pair were seen sharing a kiss outside the Flamingo Lounge nightclub in Sydney, where they had been celebrating fellow castmate Cyrell Paule’s 30th birthday.

However, the plot the thickens as 28-year-old Billy revealed he’s dating 20-year-old Instagram model Lily Buhl, just one day before the photos with Lauren were taken.

Billy has previously said that he and Lauren ‘had a thing’ back in February, but couldn’t make the relationship work due to distance, weeks before Lauren was spotted getting cosy with an apparent new girlfriend.

“It could’ve happened… It could’ve happened. She’s a sweetheart,” he told the Daily Mail at the time.

“We’re not together [now] or anything like that, I’ve got to decompress from the whole show.”

Although he’s denying a relationship with 31-year-old makeup artist Lauren, Billy did open up about his fledgling romance with Lily, who he met at the Byron Bay pub where she works.

“I met her a month ago when I was out at her bar. I recognised her from Instagram and I was really shy and ran away after I got my drink,” he told Daily Mail on Friday

“But then after going to the bar a few more times, we started chatting and went on a date to a local swimming hole.”

And despite having met just weeks ago, the pair’s relationship appears to have stepped up quickly, with Lily already sharing a series of loved-up snaps on her Instagram.

In fact, the bartender and teaching student, who’s also a fashion blogger, claims not to have watched the controversial reality series and says didn’t know who Billy was before they started dating.

“I did not watch the show due to me working night shift and not [being] up to date [with] anything on reality TV or normal TV,” Lily told fans on Instagram.

“Billy and I both agreed for our relationship’s sake – I wished he never went on the show.”

But despite any retroactive regret, Billy did appear on the program, a decision which saw him enter a tumultuous marriage with Susie Bradley who has also since found love with ex-NRL star Todd Carney.
