Married At First Sight star Ning Surasiang has become a grandmother at the age of 35 after her eldest daughter, Kia, gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday.
The season six contestant took to Instagram the following day to share the happy news, posting a sweet black and white photograph of 17-year-old Kia and her newborn, Freya.

In the caption, Ning gushed about how new mum Kia 'kicked arse' and 'didn't complain' during labour.
"So very proud of my oldest daughter, who did something I wasn’t able to ever do," the first-time grandparent wrote.
"Thank you for having me with you to witness the most incredible, beautiful and raw experience called childbirth. Watching your baby have a baby was an emotional experience for all of us, but you kicked arse hunnay!
"Kia you are one tough cookie. Words can not describe how proud I am of you, you didn’t complain, not once you said you couldn’t do it. Not even one curse word. You did better then good mama."
Ning, who is also mum to son Kai, six, and daughter Kobi, nine, previously shared her excitement at becoming 'Grandma Nini' with her social media followers.
She posted a photo of her touching Kai's bare baby bump along with a rather cheeky caption.
"Oh baby...32 weeks and counting! Showing her different facials she may pull during labour, hopefully you don’t shit yourself! Grandma Nini soon," she wrote.
Ning was paired with groom Mark Scrivens on MAFS in 2019 but the pair got off on the wrong foot on their wedding day when Ning declared that she was just there 'for the food'.
The newlyweds ended up giving their relationship a go only for their bond to breakdown prompting Ning to walk out of their final commitment ceremony on the show.
Ning is now happily dating Kane Micallef who she met on Tinder.
