While Bravo's Big Apple housewives will be debating “did they or didn’t they” for, well, ever, you can book your own romantic stay at The Ritz-Carlton, New York, NoMad where Jessel and husband Pavit broke their 18-month dry spell
Jessel Taank and husband Pavit Taank’s sex life — or lack thereof — was the hot button issue on this season of The Real Housewives of New York City. And the ladies made sure to rehash it all during the reunion, which wrapped Sunday on Bravo.
The topic first came up early on in the season, Jessel revealed that the couple hadn't been intimate for a year and a half after welcoming twin boys following an intense four-year journey with IVF — sparking months of chatter among the Housewives about the strength of their bond.
Eventually, Jessel shared that she and Pavit had finally ended their sex drought after he booked a romantic staycation in New York City. The show gave a glimpse into their night away, showing Jessel modeling some sexy lingerie as she packed for the trip followed by some quick flashes of their luxe hotel room.
The spot where the magic happened? The Ritz-Carlton, New York, NoMad — which recently celebrated its one-year anniversary.
Here’s everything you need to know before booking your own romantic stay at New York City’s hottest new hotel (or maybe even just a girls trip while your husband is busy racking up miles on trips to Vietnam).
Just north of Madison Square Park, The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad offers sweeping views of some of Manhattan's most iconic landmarks including the Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty. As Jessel would say, it’s very “up and coming.”
Jessel and Pavit likely stayed in one of the hotel’s 31 suites. It also offers 219 guestrooms, and 16-one and two-bedroom penthouse residences. And if you’re in it for the toiletries, all rooms include amenities by cult-favorite Diptyque in the scent Philosykos.
The next best thing to booking a stay at the hotel is eating at one of the four restaurants and bars by Michelin-starred chef José Andrés! They include Zaytinya (a mezze menu inspired by Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisines), Lobby Bar (enjoy a morning coffee or post work cocktail), Bazaar (a high-end dining destination born of Andrés’ Spanish roots) and Nubeluz (located on the hotel’s rooftop offering 270-degree views across Manhattan, plus a variety of classic and signature cocktails and light bites).
The 6,800-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Spa New York, NoMad and Fitness Center features eight treatment rooms, a sauna and steam rooms. The best part? Products from celeb-loved skincare line Augustinus Bader are used during all treatments including the brand’s signature facial technique, The Method, a “hands-on approach utilizes Augustinus Bader’s hero formulas to help boost cellular communication, promote circulation, and firm, tone and refresh the skin.”
Spend Thanksgiving Like a Celebrity
The hotel just launched its Thanksgiving Dinner package curated by José Andrés. Guests can dine on Thanksgiving classics including hors d'oeuvres, a turkey accompanied by traditional sides and a selection of deserts. Package is bookable before Nov. 17. Click here for all the booking details.
