"IMPORTANT LIFE UPDATE: I will be voting for THE VERY FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE in the US election this year!" wrote Lupita, who was raised in Kenya.

While she's historically been able to vote in Kenya, Lupita said she hasn't as of late as absentee voting is not permitted. "But this November 5, 2024, I will VOTE as a new American citizen, and I am very excited and honored to exercise that right," she shared. "That makes me a Virgin Voter!"

Lupita encouraged the "other #VirginVoters out there" to get involved alongside a link to check their registration status. She also asked the "experienced voters" out there to educate the newbies like her to ensure they vote responsibly.
