Nike debuts Luka Doncic Air Jordan 1 sneaker inspired by NBA star's pregame ritual

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic officially has his own signature sneaker, and it’s inspired by the guard’s pregame ritual of positive self talk. “The Air Jordan 1 Mid: Mindfulness” is an ode to the reigning rookie of the year’s calm demeanor before each game.

The sneaker features the phrases “Breathe & Center” and “Center & Breathe” written in opaque lettering on the heels. Per Nike, they pay homage to the repetitive mantras used by athletes. Additional highlights include a classic tongue label that symbolizes basketball court lines and colors. The Swoosh’s signature air-sole unit provides lightweight cushioning while bringing out your inner champion. Foam insoles with the words “Make Buckets” and “Remember Who You Are” surrounding the Jumpman design complete the look.

Available exclusively at Nike and Foot Locker, the Luka Doncic-inspired Air Jordan 1 Mid shoe retails for $125.
