The sexiest town in Australia will surprise you
It may be cooling down in Australia for the winter months but it appears Queenslanders like to keep things hot all year around.
In fact, a study by adult shop Lovehoney has revealed that one Sunshine State town is a ‘hot-bed’ of sexual activity, after being named the sexiest town in Australia.
Gladstone, which lies about 550km north of Brisbane has came out on top, after the adult shop did an analysis on the 45 largest towns and cities in Australia to see what love toys residents were buying and what they were searching for online.
The city ranked number one for the purchase of vibrators, butt plugs and anal toys.
People in Gladstone are also partial to a French maid and butler fantasy and apparently have a thing for bondage.
Coming in second on the list was the city of Brisbane, with Townsville residents coming in third place.
Rounding off the top five was Alice Springs in the NT and Wagga Wagga in NSW.
Regional Australia showed it’s leading the sexual charge throughout the country, with eight out of ten towns featuring in the top ten.
Victoria was named the least least sexiest place to live in the country with Bendigo only able to put the state on the map in position 32.
In NSW things were a bit more frisky, with Coffs Harbour cementing itself at number 25 thanks to increased strap on purchases in the area.
Brisbane may be the country’s second sexiest hotspot but Adelaide came in at number nine, Sydney at number 23, Perth at number 27 and Melbourne at number 35.
