'We love you Mama Meghan': Meghan Markle shrugs off family drama — and gets rave reviews — in $1,480 dress

Trolls can complain all they want about how much she cradles her growing baby bump, but Meghan Markle isn’t about to pay them any mind.

The duchess kept a close grip on her stomach as she made a solo royal appearance to visit the Royal Variety Charity residential nursing and care home in the London suburb of Twickenham on Tuesday. The residents at the home have a special connection to the former Suits actress — like her, they all once worked in the entertainment industry.

The visit comes on the heels of rumors of a royal rift between Meghan and sister-in-law Kate Middleton, while her relatives abroad have been making quite the pre-holidays publicity push. While estranged dad Thomas Markle claims his royal daughter has “shunned” him, half sister Samantha Markle dissed her Christmas card with Prince Harry as “sad.”

But there was no hint of family turmoil as the duchess braved the cold in a stunning winter floral dress from Brock Collection. Priced at $1,480, the dove gray Odilia midi dress — which features cap sleeves and a bump-hugging pencil skirt — was paired with Soia & Kyo’s gray wool Adelaida coat ($550), a pink clutch, and strappy taupe suede heels from Aquazzura.

While the new royal has been hounded by haters of late, her latest appearance — and dress — is getting lots of love.
