“Love Island USA ”Winners Serena Page and Kordell Beckham Are Officially Boyfriend and Girlfriend: 'My Man'

Kordell, 22, asked Serena, 24, to be his girlfriend following a romantic dinner date in Santa Monica on Tuesday, Aug. 6

The reigning Love Island USA winners are officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

On Tuesday, August 6, Serena Page and Kordell Beckham shared with fans that they had finally put a label on their relationship following a romantic dinner date.

"I just asked her out yall she said yes," Kordell, 22, wrote over a video on his Instagram Stories as he tagged Serena, 24, and jokinginly wrote, "Somebody help me."

Serena, 24, also shared a "mini vlog" of their dinner date, which took place at Twelve Twelve in Santa Monica, on TikTok, documenting the special night for the pair who were crowned winners of Love Island USA season 6 last month.

At the start of the video, as the couple entered the restaurant, a cameraman could be seen standing in front of their table, so it's possible the date – and Kordell asking Serena to be official – was filmed for the upcoming Love Island USA Reunion.

After capturing their dinner date on video – and then, spending some time at a club together – Serena ended the video by sharing the "most important part of the date."

"I asked her out," Kordell said, and Serena added, "He asked if he could be my boyfriend."

Kordell joked that she "said no," before Serena excitedly said, "I got a boyfriend, guys."

In the caption of the TikTok, she teased a "surprise at the end" of the video, calling Kordell "my man my man my man."

After being crowned winners of season 6 of the Peacock series, Serena and Kordell told PEOPLE about their plans for the future, as Serena said, "I don't think distance will be an issue for us."

"Distance is not an issue," Kordell echoed. "I can make a move, I can make it happen. And I plan on moving [to Los Angeles] soon."

As for their plans together outside the villa, Kordell said he was looking forward to "just spending time with each other, going out, doing these things that we planned."

"Within time, I will move out there whenever she's ready. I know she got to get everything situated and stuff like that. I want her to have as much time as she needs," he said, referring to his move from Dallas, Texas to L.A. where Serena lives. "Don't want to rush anything."
