Sophie Monk ditches bikini to call out haters

Sophie Monk, 40, has ditched her bikini and gone nude in a bid to silence haters claiming she’s ‘too old’ to sport the skimpy swimwear style.

On Thursday, the Love Island host shared a hilarious Instagram video of herself completely naked save for some strategically placed items including pineapples, milk jugs and beer cans.

“Someone told me ‘Stop wearing bikinis, you are too old!’ So I took their advice and stopped wearing them... I think you should post whatever you want. As long as you’re not hurting anyone,” the blonde bombshell captioned the funny clip.

The former bachelorette showed off her trademark sense of humour in the clip, pretending to search for a phone charger and ‘check out her presents’ while peering into a purple gift bag covering her assets.

Sophie made sure to credit her boyfriend of one year, Joshua Gross for capturing the risqué footage in and around the luxury Club Med villa they’re sharing while on holiday in Mauritius.

She also included a cheeky plug for MCoBeauty, the Aussie beauty brand she collaborated with earlier this year, stating it was the ‘only thing’ she was wearing.

Many of Sophie’s 560k Instagram followers - fans and celeb pals alike - took to the comments section to praise the Date Movie star.

“Wtf? With a bod like yours I’d be wearing [bikinis] to work,” wrote one.

“That's the way to stick it up them!” said another.

“Fantastic reply!” praised one.

Bold and the Beautiful star Ronn Moss commented, “Too cute,” and Australian Idol’s Anthony Callea declared, “That’s it... I’m doing the same thing!!”

Loved up getaway

It’s not the first time Sophie has gone sans clothing while on her romantic getaway with her beau, who shared three stunning nudes of his lady love in her ‘birthday suit’ in celebration of her milestone day on December 14.

The black and white snaps were taken by the besotted boyfriend who regularly shares photos of his famous partner to his personal Instagram.

Joshua was also behind the camera to film Sophie dressed in a tiny white bikini dancing to Cardi B’s I Like It before belly-flopping straight into the pool.

Earlier this year the couple spent some time in the Maldives where Sophie strutted up a storm in a red bikini without losing her trademark sense of humour.

Sophie and businessman Joshua, who recently relocated to the Gold Coast from LA, began dating at the end of 2018 and recently sparked engagement rumours when Sophie was spotted sporting some major bling.
