“Love Is Blind”'s Jess says nothing happened with Jimmy after filming 'out of respect for Chelsea'

"We don't have a relationship at all," Jess tells EW of her pod ex.

Love Is Blind season 6 cast member Jess Vestal is all about girl code.

After she was dumped in the pods by Jimmy Presnell — who chose to propose to Chelsea Blackwell over her — Jess never considered rekindling things with him when his engagement ended in the finale. "Just out of respect for Chelsea, that's not something he and I have ever explored or probably ever will," Jess tells EW.

In fact, Jess reveals that she and Jimmy didn't even become friends after filming ended. "We don't have a relationship at all," Jess says. "And I'm very close with mostly all of the cast from the show."

In all of the (very rare) instances in which they did see each other when the cast hung out together, Jess says that she and Jimmy agreed their relationship would never have lasted in their regular lives.

"He was very respectful of Chelsea and we both came to the mutual decision that we were not meant for each other and it would not have worked outside of the pods," she says.

As for her current relationship status? "Single," she says before adding with a smile: "Very."
