Lingerie ad blunder leaves model looking like she has 'one giant breast'

A lingerie ad has made headlines after a zoom tool saw a model’s breast look overinflated in the campaign.

Loungewear Underwear uploaded the photo of the model, with the zoom tool hovering over the model’s chest so potential buyers could see what the lace looks like.

However, the image left social media users in laughter, with many left confused online.

The fail was spotted by Twitter user @jennifergalttt, who uploaded the snap to her Twitter, writing: “I thought this lassie on lounge underwear ads had one giant tit but obv it’s so you can see the lace.”

People responded saying: “Wtf is this monstrosity” and “'This is bad. I’m open to the opportunity of being a member of your marketing team.”

Loungewear Underwear soon realised they had gone viral and uploaded a video to their own Twitter account, alongside the caption: “You thought your Monday was bad? Try coming into the office to discover you’ve gone viral for making a design boob-boo… “

The model who features in the campaign, Kara Del Toro, has since spoken to The Post, saying it also gave her a giggle when she saw the photo.

“I completely understand what Lounge was going for with this photo, trying to highlight the stitching/pattern on the bra, but maybe there could have been better placement for the ‘enhanced’ photo," she said.

“That being said, I definitely had a good laugh when I was made abreast of the situation,” she continued, adding, “no hard feelings on my end :)”
