The singer shared posts of herself celebrating Thanksgiving on Instagram on Nov. 29
Lizzo is styling it out for Thanksgiving!
On Friday, Nov. 29, the singer, 36, posted photos on Instagram of her looking chic in a form-fitting orange dress — amid her recent weight loss — as she celebrated Thanksgiving at home.
“Yall wasn’t the only ones eating yesterday 😮💨,” Lizzo joked in the caption.
In the snap, the “Special” singer held up her phone to take a selfie as she stood in a dressing room wearing an orange off-the-shoulder maxi dress with large floral prints by Hanifa, which retails for $184, and her hair up in a braided crown.
Lizzo also shared a close-up photo and video of herself in the carousel post showing off her make-up look, which consisted of a brown smokey eye, rosy pink blush and a nude lip.

In an earlier post, the “It’s About Damn Time” hitmaker gave followers a glimpse of her well-prepared Thanksgiving meal in a funny video as she sang a line from the film adaptation of the musical Wicked.
“Watch me defy gravity on these greens & turkey wings bitch 😫,” Lizzo captioned the clip, referring to lyrics of "Defying Gravity."
The video clip began with a zoomed-in shot of creamy mashed potato in a white bowl placed on a kitchen island. The camera then panned across the table to show more cooked dishes of macaroni and cheese laid out in a silvery tray, followed by sweet potatoes and various meats, including slices of turkey.

Lizzo then appeared in the shot as she stood by the edge of the island next to the dishes. She then sang a line from Cynthia Erivo’s character Ephaba in Wicked loudly before she stopped and bowed her head, laughing.

Lizzo’s Thanksgiving posts come as she has continued to document her weight loss journey in recent months on social media.
Two days before the holiday, the singer posted a video of her working out in the gym in preparation for the holiday on TikTok.
“Getting ready cus I’m definitely eating 3 plates tomorrow 🤪,” she captioned the clip.
In the video, a sweaty Lizzo was seen dressed in a black catsuit and a black sweater as she did lunges in what appeared to be her home gym. She then appeared in the following clip doing squats while holding a pair of weights and using a medicine ball.
Back in September, the musician responded to an Instagram follower who questioned if she was taking Ozempic, the FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes, in an effort to lose weight.
Included a video of herself smiling for the camera in the carousel post, she cheekily captioned it, "When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit." The clip was also soundtracked by a popular TikTok audio of Christoph Waltz's character in Django Unchained saying, "It's like a reward."
