I Lived Like Paris Hilton For An Hour, And I Could Absolutely Get Used To These 11 Things

Hey you, if you're here, that means you either like to travel, you're curious about what the rich and famous keep in their hotel rooms when they travel, or you want to know how many shades of pink Paris Hilton can squeeze into one hotel suite. It doesn't matter which one applies to you because you're in the right place either way!

Paris designed a hotel suite at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.

Colorful Barbie-themed room with plush chairs, vibrant decor, and a large window overlooking a scenic view

If you know me, you know I'm down to try anything bougie. So I jumped at the chance to peek inside.

(Yes, this is a preview of me making myself feel right at home in the suite).

When you walk into the hotel, the suite has its own check-in counter. You don't have to be a detective to spot it, trust me.

Once I got upstairs, the suite was also not very hard to find.

I walked in, and the Hilton team offered me a glass of champagne, pink slippers, a robe, and some Y2K sunglasses, so who was I to say no?

(They had no idea they were creating a monster.)

Now that we're all comfortable, here are the 11 details from inside the suite that I could get verrry used to, and whether they're heiress-coded or oddly normal to me:

1.The canapés on the table when you walk in.

I am a midwestern girlie through and through, so I had never actually heard of canapés; maybe you're laughing right now because that's ridiculous. But that made this super heiress-coded for me.

2.The drinks spread out around the room.

Two glasses of drinks and two Beverly Hilton-branded bottles on a marble table with a Beverly Hilton napkin

3.That brings me to the snack drawer.

You had me at Sour Patch. There was also popcorn, pink Starbursts, and pink M&M's. It's giving normal, except for the all-pink Starbursts and M&M's. I'd pay good money for a bag of pink Starbursts I didn't have to sort myself.

4.The mini-fridge.

Pink champagne, sparkling water, Coca-Cola, and Sprite. It's all the essential food groups from a girlie refrigerator. Very normal. I just bought most of these items from Target last night for myself.

5.DVDs of movies and shows from the 2000s.

DVD collection on a shelf: "Shakespeare in Love," "The Simple Life," "Love Happens," "Maid in Manhattan," "Failure to Launch," "Something Borrowed," "What Women Want," "(500) Days of Summer"

6.The karaoke machine and ring light.

If you have been to a girls' night that didn't include at least one of these, I have genuine questions. I spent a solid 15 minutes at the ring light and I'm not sorry. Very normal.

7.The full-length mirror with a Paris Hilton quote.

A full-length mirror is a must. Having your own quote across it, super heiress-coded. Also, *adds to vision board*.

8.Actual rugs from Paris's home.

A table with "Infinite Icon," a magazine, and a sparkly pink clutch on a patterned rug. Flowers in a vase are on the table

9.The green tea wellness shot accompanied by macaroons in the bedroom.

The shot went down a bit too easily. It was hilarious, I cringed and everything waiting for it to hurt. I think it's more of a 'you've been drinking champagne all day' refresher. But the duality of health and anti-health next to each other, and by the bed at that? I'm going to say normal.

10.The view from the balcony.

Unreal. It's impossible to capture in a photo. Very heiress-coded, especially if you're not from California. All I could hear was the theme song for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in my head.

11.And finally, 26 shades of pink throughout the entire suite.

I had no idea that many shades of pink even existed. So yes, heiress-coded. Also, what my 8-year-old self begged for multiple Christmases in a row.

Overall, this was a fun, nostalgic experience as a '90s baby. It's also super "Instagram-able" and "TikTok-able." In my opinion, it's a cool idea for a girls' trip to LA, especially if you've never been here before, or if you've never been a hotel heiress before. Also, as a perpetually tired girlie, the late checkout time and 11:11 a.m. brunch time truly spoke to my soul.

However, it is my civic duty to remind you that the price is steep for the average person, and only a few people can stay in the suite, no large groups, so keep that in mind (and wallet) when you book. That said, Hilton Honors members can use points, and you can enter a sweepstakes if you have luck with those kinds of things.

You can visit Hilton's website for more information on the suite and how to book it throughout the month of October.
