How to listen to Christmas music 24/7 until Dec. 25: Radio, streaming playlists and more
Is there a better way to get in the Christmas spirit than turning on Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" or at the risk of being obvious, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey? Whether you're a fan of the classics or prefer a modern pop twist, there are countless holiday tunes and plenty of ways to listen.
According to a 2023 Cloud Cover Music survey, 28% of respondents said they started listening to Christmas music around Dec. 1, with the most played song being Carey's famous classic. "All I Want For Christmas Is You" was played about 18 hours and 24 minutes throughout the year, according to the survey.
Why people listen to Christmas − outside of the grocery store − tends to be fairly the same across the board. According to a Katz Radio survey, most adults listen to Christmas music as part of a tradition, because it makes them feel nostalgic, to improve their mood and to add enjoyment to the holiday season.
If you're looking to get in the holiday spirit yourself, or relive some holiday memories, here's where to find 24/7 Christmas music for free and through paid streaming services.
