Lisa Campbell's warning about Beyonce twins names
Lisa Campbell is a mum of one son Leo, plus a younger set of twins - so she's guessing that when it comes to a celebrity having a multiple birth, keyboard warriors will have a LOT to say. Besides the interest in Beyonce twin photos and hilarious Beyonce twin memes, there's also sure to be people ready to have their say about Beyonce twins names. So she's offering Beyonce some sage twins names advice in this hilariously honest open letter.
Dear Bey,
Massive congratulations on the twins. How wonderful!
And a boy and a girl! The pigeon pair. All super news.
Now I read this morning about the names. Rumour has it that you’ve named them Bea and Shawn, after yourself and Jay-Z. Junior and Junior.
I like it, but I’m afraid to break it to you, the internet does not. Twitter, in particular, HAAAATES it.
Sooo I really hope that article I read that Beyoncé name her twins Shawn & Bea are false.. 😂🙅🏾♂️😭👎🏾

It appears that because you are recording artists in the public eye, the world wanted more from you. They wanted another Blue Ivy, a Moon Unit or at least an Apple.
You gave them a Golden Girl.
But I am writing to tell you a story.
I had my twins two and a half years ago. We named them William and Elizabeth (Billy and Betty for short). A couple of weeks after they were born, my proud husband posted this photo online.
The caption was ‘Summer Billy and Watermelon Betty’. Because…you know…Billy is wearing something vaguely summery and Betty is wearing a dress which has a watermelon pattern (not his most witty or insightful caption, a bit ‘say-what-you-see’ but he was tired – two week old twins – so don’t judge, and be prepared for Jay to be a little under par for a couple of months). I digress.
So the picture went up. Summer Billy and Watermelon Betty. Pretty innocuous? Oh no, no, no. This is social media.
All hell broke loose.
People went crazy – assuming that we had named our son Summer and our daughter Watermelon.
They called us bad parents. They expressed regret for the poor children who were going to be subjected to such embarrassment throughout their lives. One woman even said that our kids should be taken away.
Then a secondary faction started, countering that actually we could call our kids whatever we wanted and that Watermelon was actually quite a striking name for a little girl.

So the moral of this tale, Bey, is that you can win 22 Grammys but you can never win approval from Twitter.
BUT if you want to, Watermelon Carter could be a beautiful option…
Love,
Lisa
