Lindsey Vonn made a bright statement on the ESPY Awards red carpet on Thursday in Los Angeles. The Olympic gold medalist wore a daring yellow dress with a side cutout and a thigh-high slit. The ensemble also featured a one-long-sleeve silhouette and a small train.
Vonn completed her look with a black clutch and matching sandals. She accessorized with gold jewelry and let her tresses loose, falling down her shoulders.

The dress is a vibrant departure from Vonn’s outfit at her last time at the ESPYs in 2022, when she wore a peach halter dress with a draped neck, kick hem and mid-thigh slit at the back.
The alpine ski racer is among the notable athletes and celebrities invited to present awards at this year’s ceremony. Vonn has a long story with the ESPYs. She won the Best Female Athlete award in both 2010 and 2011, demonstrating her significant impact on the sports world. In 2019, she also received the Best Moment ESPY Award, sharing the honor with other retiring sports legends Dwyane Wade and Rob Gronkowski.
The ESPY, Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly, Awards honor the best athletes in sports from the WNBA, MLB, UFC and more. Coco Gauff, Caitlin Clark and Patrick Mahomes are among the 2024 ESPY Awards high-profile nominees. 23-time Grand Slam champion and ESPY Award recipient Serena Williams will serve as host for the evening’s ceremony at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
