Lindsay Lohan has confirmed she will be back for season 2 of The Masked Singer after rumours of sacking dogged the actress.
Though Channel 10 previously spoke out to deny rumours the US singer was getting the boot, Lindsay’s admission confirms ithe actress will definitely be behind the desk come 2020.
Speaking to fellow judge and HIT radio host Hughesy, on his show Hughsey & Kate on Friday, the former child star not only confirmed her return but went so far as to gush about her fellow judges.
She confirmed the deal was ‘definitely’ signed, sealed and delivered for her return next year.
“I’m excited,” she gushed, even screaming into the microphone.
She wasn’t done dispelling rumours just yet, however.
The embattled star also waved off any suggestion that her and fellow judges Jackie 'O' Henderson, Dannii Minogue and Dave Hughes had any bad blood between them.
“We're family, we're all on a group chat, we're all friends,” she said.
A Hollywood veteran after appearing in TV and film from the age of 10, Lindsay also made a surprisingly heartbreaking comment about why the show means so much to her.
“(On The Masked Singer) We all stay in touch, and I think that's so important because when you do movies, people fall out of touch - and that's sad really,” she said.
Lindsay’s comments come after she wowed audiences by finally correctly guessing an identity on The Masked Singer.
She also revealed she’ll be attending The Melbourne Cup, jetting back to Australia to catch the horse race.
