Home and Away star Lincoln Lewis has us feeling all warm and fuzzy after he uploaded a sweet video featuring a very special furry friend.
The Aussie actor took to Instagram to share a snapshot of his morning which included a dance around the backyard with a baby kangaroo, and it’s as cute as it sounds.
The unlikely duo clearly have more in common than you might think. They both appear to love bouncing around the garden, and chasing each other in circles.
The adorable kangaroo’s diminutive stature suggests she is just a baby, but she’s more than capable of keeping up with her big mate, 31-year-old Linc.
If the cringeworthy dad jokes in the caption are anything to go by, Lincoln may be considering adopting the jumpy bub and raising her himself.
“Time to get the day started and...hop. to. it..!” he wrote alongside the video.
At least he could own his cheesiness, adding ‘Righto pun for the day sorted so hope ya’s have a good one!’ at the end.
Fans jump into the comments
Others wouldn’t let the cringe factor die however, adding their own hilarious puns to the mix.
“Don't 'skip' breakfast,” one warned.
“Gotta bounce,” actor mate Harry cook added.
Other fans of the Underbelly actor only had eyes for the cute factor however, and were quick to absolutely melt in the comments section.
“This is the cutest thing I've ever seen,” one fan wrote.
“Awwww,” another wrote.
“Omg how adorable,” another wrote.
The latest step in a brilliant comeback
The heartwarming video comes after the star made an impressive comeback following a catfishing scandal in which his identity was stolen.
The former Home and Away star made the return to the spotlight on the cover of Men’s Health, after feeling ‘broken’ while battling depression.
Now he’s showcasing a brand new real spring in his step, and it looks like he may not be the only one.
Tagging the woman behind the video, Nicole Slater, wife of rugby league legend Billy Slater, Lincoln let slip that he may have some damning footage of the photographer and WAG also getting her groove on with their adorable sidekick.
“Your one of her jumping round then stopping right in front of you is next,” he warned.
Let’s just say we have our fingers well and truly crossed that he follows through with that cheeky suggestion.
