MAFS' Domenica launches collaboration with major fashion brand: 'Pinch me'

This year’s season of Married At First Sight may have ended over a month ago, but Domenica Calarco’s time in the spotlight is only just beginning.

The make-up artist, who became a fan favourite bride on the reality TV show for her outspoken and candid personality, launched a collaboration with Australian fashion retailer Showpo on Monday.

The Domenica x Showpo collection features 50 bright and bold items, including footwear, all with “a super glam and effortless vibe”.

In a statement to Yahoo Lifestyle, Domenica called the collaboration “very exciting” and said she was “beyond thrilled to have partnered with such a great brand like Showpo”.

“Being such a lover of fashion, it is certainly a pinch me moment,” she added.

“I’m an everyday wear type of girl, so making sure I have staple pieces is key and I feel Showpo does this so well! I love that I can mix and match my collection into my wardrobe staples.”

Domenica went on to say that her favourite look is the Lime Green Two Piece Set, which retails for $119.95.

Jane Lu, who founded the online fashion company back in 2010, also remarked that it was great working with Domenica as she embodies everything that Showpo is: “Authentic, outspoken, fun and very fashionable.”

“I saw Dom wearing Showpo during the show and was so excited and sent it to everyone I know,” she continued.

“It honestly felt like the perfect alignment. We are so excited to make something official with her. She posted us organically on the weekend and honestly the engagement is high so this collection will go crazy.”

Social media users were thrilled by the collaboration when it was first announced on Instagram last week.

"Girl I don’t think I’ve been more excited for a collection,” one fan commented, while another added, “Keen for this!”.

“Can I just say, Domenica, I’m so proud of how much love you’re getting! You deserve it all! Yes, queen!” a third wrote.

‘Branded baby’

Domenica’s exciting launch comes shortly after she and her close friend Ella Ding made their best friendship “official” by getting matching tattoos.

“We did a thing. Branded baby,” Domenica captioned a gallery of snaps from the tattoo shop.

“Yes we made it official. Tattoos last longer than rings. Love comes and goes, friends last forever," Ella wrote on her post.

In the comments, Ella also explained that the tattoos are Cupid’s angels because they “met on a love show”.

“You probably can’t see but it’s blowing an E and D. I have D for Dom and she’s got the E for me,” she added.
