Big Brother housemate Imogen Anthony is known for her daring Australian Fashion Week outfits, but she really had heads turning on Thursday with her peculiar choice of headwear.
Dressed in a custom OMG LMT hot pink dress, the star opted to wear a Vex Clothing black latex gimp mask, along with black gloves and leggings. She finished off her outfit with Louboutin boots and a Dolce & Gabbana bag.
Imogen was attending the Iordanes Spyridon Gogos show held at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, and shared multiple photos of her look on Instagram.
Her fellow reality TV stars were blown away by the interesting outfit, with many praising the star for the gimp mask.
“This is SO fire,” fellow Big Brother star Josh Carroll wrote, while Tamara Djordjevic from Married At First Sight added, “Okay this wins.”
Fans also told the star how much they loved her outfit, with one calling it "Iconic", and another writing: “It’s like 80s gimp prom vibes and I am LIVING for this. You always kill it.”
“Official fave Met Gala, I mean…Fashion Week fit yet,” another joked.
Imogen posted a warning on Instagram at the start of the week , saying that her Australian Fashion Week outfits were going to be more outrageous than ever before.
Alongside photos of last year’s looks, she wrote, “It’s about to start all over again this week… so if you think last year was an acid trip, wait ‘till you see me on my sh*t at this year’s Australian Fashion Week.”
She hasn’t played it safe, choosing to wear a skin-tight Camilla black and leopard print catsuit on day one. The model also chose to wear a strange pair of futuristic sunglasses with a bralet and corset combo, referring to her outfit as a “Sl*tty Canadian tuxedo.”
On Wednesday, the star wrote a heartfelt message on Instagram about her Australian Fashion Week experience. She explained that she feels so lucky to be invited back each year, and considers it a privilege to have met so many people along the way.
“Thank you for having me in your community,” she wrote.
“I have never felt like I have belonged to something the way I do now.”
