Meet The Woman Who Paid $14K To Look Like A Disney Princess

A lot of young girls dream about being a Disney princess but unless you manage to land a job in Disneyland, it's likely to never come true.

However 25-year-old Sarah Ingle, from Denver, Colorado, refused to give up on her childhood dream and has spent more than $14,000 transforming herself into nine princesses: Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Aurora, Rapunzel, Merida from Brave, and Elsa and Anna from Frozen.

The Disney fanatic, who is a marketing manager by day and Disney princess by night, has managed to make a career for herself out of her uncanny resemblance to an assortment of characters, charging about $145 to make an appearance at kids' birthday parties and events.

Speaking to HotSpot media, Sarah said the $14,000 was spent on acquiring 17 Disney princess outfits and 16 wigs.

"It takes a lot of time to get into the outfits because they have lots of layers that tie up at the back,"she said.

"Then I have a different wig and makeup look for each princess. I have to contour my face when I play Aurora from Sleeping Beauty because my face is much rounder than hers. And as I have hazel eyes, I have to wear blue contact lenses for the Little Mermaid and Elsa from Frozen."

When it comes to her outfits, Sarah explained the lengthy process it takes to make each one.

"Each dress can take up to six months to make and I source many different materials from all over the world, including silk and organza before drawing my final designs," she said.

"I'm very fortunate to have a full time job that pays for the beautiful dresses and material because I'm so passionate about looking the best that I can for the performances."

The stunner, who has been blessed with genetically good looks, said she has always been told she looks like Disney characters and decided to use her assets to carve a career.

"I was born with really big eyes, and people were always telling me that I looked like a cartoon doll or Disney princess," she said.

"I suppose that my big eyes just help me to appear more cartoon-like, which is great for what I do."

Sarah said her dream is to one day give up her full-time job and live her life being paid to dress as Ariel all day long.

"Maybe one day I can go for an audition and they'll give me my dream job," she said.
