Grumpy Cat is the first feline to ever be immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds - and she hates it.

The internet sensation, who first shot to fame in 2012, will eventually become "animatronic" with five different movements, making her wax figure much more advanced than that of the other pleb celebrities.

"This is truly an honor..." said Grumpy Cat. "I hate it."

Grumpy Cat's wax figure will appear in the San Fransisco version of Madame Tussaud's, where she'll be in good company alongside the likes of Nicki Minaj.

To recreate her grumpy look, a UK team carefully measured, weighed and photographed the cat – and she hated every second of it course.

Her owner, Tabatha Bundesen, says she was able to quit her waitressing job mere days after Grumpy Cat's first appearance on social media.
