“My Life with the Walter Boys” Wraps Season 2: Noah LaLonde Teases a 'Happy' Ending as Nikki Rodriguez Juggles Love Triangle
The cast of the Netflix hit discussed the "emotional" final days on set of season 2 and teased what's to come in the highly-anticipated new installment
My Life with the Walter Boys has officially wrapped production on season 2 and the cast is feeling all the feels as they say goodbye to Calgary.
On Monday, Nov. 18, Netflix confirmed that season 2 has wrapped in a post on Instagram, and later offered fans more of a peek into what's to come in the second installment of the hit show.
Star Nikki Rodriguez — who plays protagonist Jackie Howard, who was forced to move in with Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) and George Walter (Marc Blucas) and their 10 kids in Colorado after a tragic accident left her orphaned — told Tudum that she felt "so weird" on set last week "because it doesn't feel like it's the last few days."

"I really like it here," she said of the Canadian city where they also filmed season 1 and have been filming season 2 since August. "And obviously I get to work with my best friends every day, looking at trees. It’s the best.”
Rodriguez, 21, wasn't the only one reminiscing. Noah LaLonde, who plays one of Rodriguez's onscreen love interests, Cole Walter, said it was an "emotional couple of days" for him, as he admitted, "That's how I get with everything."
The cast is sticking around for a bit, though, to hang out after filming wraps. Ashby Gentry, who plays Jackie's other love interest, Alex Walter, revealed. "We have our apartments for a little bit afterwards, so we're definitely going to stick around."
"It’s awesome to see this show received well and to have people escaping to Silver Falls with us because it’s a sweet place,” LaLonde, 26, said, before teasing what's to come in season 2.
"And while there’s some dramatic stuff that goes on, I’m sure it’ll all be happy in the end. But how the hell could I know?”
Rodriguez said that the upcoming episodes see Jackie — who (spoiler alert!) fled Colorado after finally kissing Cole to return to New York City with her uncle at the end of season 1 — "trying to figure out where she belongs.
"She’s definitely not trying to lose either side of herself, and trying to make sure that they could coexist.”
Creator Melanie Halsall also spoke to Tudum and teased that season 2 "is bigger and better" with "more intricate" stories. Case in point: five new actors have joined the show — three of which are new love interests for members of the Walter clan.
Newcomer Maria (played by Riele Downs) is a "flirty girl in Alex’s driver’s ed class;" Carson MacCormac plays "strikingly handsome senior" Zach, who "makes strong attempts to get to know Nathan" (Corey Fogelmanis), and Natalie Sharp joined as "champion rodeo rider" B. Hartford, the "tough, smart, funny, sexy and cool" athlete who "catches the eye of one of the Walter Boys."
Janet Kidder and Jake Manley have also joined the show, with Kidder playing Joanne Wagner, one of Katherine's friends and mom to Jackie's friend Grace (Ellie O'Brien), and Manley playing a rising star bronc rider Wylder Holt.
