Lawsuit alleges Kanye West drugged, sexually assaulted ex-assistant at Diddy studio session

The allegation is part of a previous wrongful termination suit against Ye.

The rapper formerly known as Kanye West has been pulled into the ongoing legal drama surrounding hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Lauren Pisciotta, an ex-assistant to West, who now goes by Ye, claims she was drugged and sexually assaulted during a studio session co-hosted by Diddy.

Pisciotta, who worked for West from 2021 to 2022, alleges In an amended complaint obtained by PEOPLE that her employer committed "sexual battery" after serving her a laced drink. She has not accused Combs of wrongdoing in her amended suit against West.

A lawyer for West did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.

Pisciotta's allegations are part of her previous wrongful termination lawsuit against West, in which she claimed that she was subjected to explicit texts, pornographic photos, videos, and phone calls from him before being fired.

Previously, a legal representative for West called Pisciotta's wrongful termination suit "baseless" and claims Pisciotta "pursued [West] sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits, then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected."

This is only the latest development in West's legal troubles; earlier this year, a former employee of the rapper’s Donda Academy and Yeezy fashion brand filed a lawsuit accusing him of racism, homophobia, antisemitism, and harassment against both the school's students and employees. The plaintiff, Trevor Phillips, alleges that he was sexually harassed by West, repeatedly abused and humiliated in front of other employees and staff, and was never paid termination or severance after Donda Academy shut down.

As for Diddy, the 54-year-old  is currently in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being denied bail following his not-guilty plea to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He's additionally facing sexual assault lawsuits from 120 other individuals, represented by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee.

An attorney for Combs, Erica Wolff, denied the allegations. "As Mr. Combs' legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus," Wolff said in a statement provided to EW. "That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation."
