Lauren Hutton said she knew she was ‘about to expire’ from modeling at 30 before signing her famous Revlon contract
Lauren Hutton signed her massive deal with Revlon over fears that she would age out of the modeling industry. In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 78-year-old Nip/Tuck alum — who also posed topless for the magazine — shared that she was inspired by baseball player Catfish Hunter's insistence on working under a contract when she sought out her lucrative 1973 makeup deal. Hutton's Revlon deal was the first cosmetics contract of its kind and paid her $250,000 a year, which would be worth more than $1.4 million today.
