As the mother of the groom and the ‘people’s princess’, the late Princess Diana’s presence at the wedding was sorely missed.

She was represented by her family however, including her three siblings Lady Sarah McCorquodale, Earl Charles Spencer and Lady Jane Fellowes, the latter of which was chosen to do a reading as a tribute to Diana.

Here’s what you should know about them:

Lady Kitty Spencer

The 27-year-old has worked as a model, starred in a Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign, and walked in the Italian brand’s runway show in February. She looked stunning for Harry and Meghan’s big day, in an emerald-green dress covered in flowers from the company.

Kitty teamed the dress with orange satin heels and a green fascinator designed by Philip Treacy. The elaborate headgear featured a hand-blocked teardrop veil with a hand-sculpted knot parasisal, with a feather quill and spines as well as Swarovski crystals.

Kitty, who was only six years old when Princess Diana died, is now making a name for herself as a model in the fashion industry.

She has previously worked with Dolce & Gabbana, whose show saw her channeling Diana as she walked the runway wearing an ornate tiara on the Milan Fashion Week runway.

Lady Sarah McCorquodale

Lady Sarah, who is 63, is the oldest sibling of the family who Diana reportedly saw as a role model.

Funnily enough, Sarah also dated Prince Charles before introducing him to her sister.

Despite this, she always supported Diana and Charles’ relationship, even referring to herself as ‘Cupid’ for introducing them, according to The Guardian.

Lady Sarah instead tied the knot with Neil McCorquodale in 1980 and together have three children: Emily, George, and Celia.

Sarah was also the president of the Diana Memorial Fund, raising an impressive $200 million for charity before it close in 2012.

Lady Jane Fellowes

Lady Jane Fellows, 61, who is Diana’s other sister, is taking on the important task of performing a reading in her honour at the royal wedding.

Aside from the occasional charity event, this will be the first time Jane has spoken out in the spotlight since her sister’s funeral, so all eyes are on her.

Jane’s husband is Robert Fellowes, who has been very much involved in the royal family after working as a private secretary to the Queen before becoming a baron in 1999, giving them the titles Lord and Lady Fellowes.

The pair are now parents-of-three and grandparents to four children, with her eldest daughter Laura Jane Fellowes a godmother to Princess Charlotte.

Earl Charles Spencer is Diana’s younger brother and the godson to the Queen herself.

As the 9th Earl of Spencer, he has taken on the role of lord and caretaker of the royal Althorp Estate, which is also the final resting place of Princess Diana.

He is currently with his third wife, Karen Countess Spencer, whom he married in 2011.

It’s reported that all of his seven children received invites to the royal wedding including Diana’s three lookalike nieces who captured our attention at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011.

The young aristocrats have since become glamorous socialites, often sharing glimpses of their luxe lifestyle and fashion choices to social media.
