Lady Gaga has arrived.

The multihyphenate, 38, shut down the red carpet at the 2024 Venice Film Festival on Sept. 4 for the premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux, in which she plays Harley Quinn.

At the Italian event, where she walked the red carpet with her costar Joaquin Phoenix, the film's director Todd Phillips and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, Gaga wore an appropriately glamorous look. She rocked a voluminous black gown with a plunging neckline and massive skirt. The star of her outfit, though, was her sparkly lace Philip Treacy headpiece.

The lace piece covered Gaga's eyes and came to two points atop her head for dramatic effect. The singer also accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and her go-to platform boots, which peeked out from beneath her dress when she lifted her skirt on the red carpet.

In the sequel to the 2019 Joker, Gaga takes on the role of Harley, who has been played by numerous other actresses (though mostly just in voice), including Margot Robbie, Mia Sara, Kaley Cuoco and more. The "Bad Romance" singer, however, is making the Joker: Folie à Deux Harley Quinn completely her own.

"My version of Harley is mine and it's very authentic to this movie and these characters, and I don't want to give anything from the movie away," she told Access Hollywood on the red carpet of her Gaga Chromatica Ball screening and dance party on May 23. "I think it's really something you have to experience in the theater."

"This film has music, it has dance, it has amazing acting in it," she added. "I loved working with Joaquin, I loved working with [director] Todd [Phillips]. What I will say is that I've never done anything like I've done in this movie before, so it's all going to be completely brand new and really fun."

Lady Gaga's glam appearance in Venice comes on the heels of her equally glam appearance in Paris at the 2024 Olympics in July, where she kicked off the Opening Ceremony with a performance of "Mon Truc en Plumes" in a full cabaret getup of feathers and sparkle.

She took to the stage along River Seine wearing a full Dior Haute Couture look featuring a black feather jacket over a black satin bustier and panties. The pièce de résistance of the fashion moment was the black-and-pink skirt embroidered with feathers and sequins. She also wore a Dior headpiece, gloves and shoes. Of course!

At the end of her performance, the Grammy winner ditched the skirt to reveal a second look, featuring a Dior black satin bustier and briefs with a white feather pompom, which honored the cabaret vibe of the performance.
