Kylie Kelce Says It's 'Not My Cup of Tea' to Be in the Spotlight as Kelce Family Fame Soars
Between the social media attention on Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift, the focus on the Kelce family is bigger than ever
Kylie Kelce is still adjusting to the ever-growing attention on her family’s life.
Kylie, who married Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce in 2018, has become a subject of much interest on the internet and amongst sports fans in the last year. From bringing two OBs to the Super Bowl while she was heavily pregnant in February to her brother-in-law Travis Kelce’s new relationship with Taylor Swift, all eyes are on Kylie, 31 and the Kelce crew — and she’s not exactly familiar with the territory.
“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera,” she told local Kansas City outlet Spectrum Sports KC on Sunday after leading a kids field hockey clinic.
She shared that she “was a communication major in college,” so her comfort lies more on the other side of the camera.

“I love to be behind it, that’s my bread and butter,” she said, before adding that the fame can be helpful in some cases, such as bringing attention to the girls field hockey clinic she ran on Sunday — with the help of her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce. Then, the attention is appreciated because it “creates opportunities.”
“I’m so happy to be able to give back to Kansas City in this way,” Kylie said of the clinic.
The mother of three — she shares daughters Bennett, 10 months, Elliotte, 2, and Wyatt, 4, with Jason, 36 — also told the outlet about her plans for Monday night’s matchup between the Eagles and his brother’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
“I am just hoping that we have enough people in the stadium saying 'Go Birds' that we will get my husband’s first win against the Kansas City Chiefs in his career,” she said. “He's 13 years in, we're due.”
The Philadelphia native also spoke to Spectrum Sports KC about her reaction to Jason being one of the Men of the Year in PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive issue, a title that he’s widely joked about online and on his podcast.
“I mean I knew this, I've known this the whole time. This is not news to me,” Kylie said of her husband’s sex appeal.
“But it's funny to see those things sort of rolling in because at the end of the day, he's still tucking in toddlers at the end of the night and getting called in for kid duty.”
While the attention can be overwhelming, life at home is still the same toddler-infused chaos it's always been for the couple, who took PEOPLE behind the scenes of their family Christmas card this year.
"Jason and I definitely, it's definitely a joint effort to wrangle our children. There's all hands going out to grab whoever we can, to make sure that we can keep them as close as possible," Kylie said. "We had a few photos this year with the dogs which just adds a whole new level of challenge."

Kylie also opened up about their upcoming Thanksgiving plans, as she shared, "I love Thanksgiving. I love that it's a time of getting together with family and eating delicious food, and so I always want to give that the focus it deserves.”
As for when she’ll shift her focus to Christmas, she said, “I am a strictly after-Thanksgiving kind of girl.”
“The day after Thanksgiving — it is just holly jolly in our house."
