Kylie Jenner's front-row wardrobe cements her new style era
Last year saw Kylie Jenner move into a new style era, and if her Couture Fashion Week looks are anything to go by, she's taking this grown-up aesthetic well into 2024.
The reality TV star famously grew up in the public eye, experimenting with logo-adorned, statement-making fashion and bold beauty, but recent months have seen her debuting a more toned-down approach to dressing. She's arguably never looked better.
Whether she's been inspired by the the 'quiet luxury' movement, influenced by new beau Timothy Chalamet, or simply fancied a change, her wardrobe has become noticeably more elegant and refined – and nowhere has this been more apparent than during the couture shows this week in Paris. Last night, she stepped out in a glamorous Valentino look for the fashion house's spring/summer 2024 couture show – rubbing shoulders with the likes of Florence Pugh, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jennifer Lopez – and sat front row with her daughter Stormi, who wore a sweet matching outfit.
Jenner wore a classic black fitted dress with a floor-grazing hemline, paired with a dramatic feathered cape, ornate gold earrings and sunglasses, while Stormi looked adorable in a long-sleeved dress paired with shiny Mary Janes and a tiny purse.
Jenner also attended the Simone Rocha x Jean Paul Gaultier show earlier this week, where she wore an ethereal sheer strapless dress. The Khy founder styled the corseted design with pearl-adorned clear platforms – which were also debuted on that very catwalk – silver pendant earrings and a delicate gold chain bracelet.
She started the week in a sleek all-black design – a polished and sophisticated spin on that trademark Kardashian glamour. The dress featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and sheer panelling – worn with Fashion Week's must-have accessory: black sunglasses. We cannot wait to see what she wears next.
