No one really likes being confronted with an embarrassing photo of themselves as an awkward teen while innocently scrolling through their Instagram feed — not even reality TV star Kylie Jenner.
The billionaire beauty mogul, 23, was less than impressed when she discovered her older sister, Kim Kardashian, had shared a throwback pic of the pair having dinner with their siblings Kendall and Khloe.
“Babies at Benihana,” Kim, 39, captioned the snap which appears to have been taken at the Japanese restaurant chain about a decade ago when Kylie was just 13.
With their matching dark hair, thick fringes and makeup-free faces, Kylie and her model sister Kendall — who looks to be around 14 — are worlds away from their current stylish and sexy personas. And the Kylie Cosmetics founder wasn’t having it.
“Delete this immediately,” the mum-of-one demanded in the comments and, to be honest, it’s not clear if she’s joking or not.
At the time of publishing, Kim has yet to oblige her sister’s wish and the post remains live. Adding insult to injury, Kylie’s comment has received almost 20,000 likes while the image itself has received 2.3 million.
Kim’s followers also shared their thoughts on the old family pic, with many remarking how different the women are today.
“I don’t recognize a single person there,” declared one.
“Oh so that's what they look like....” said another.
One fan was sure that Kylie wouldn’t be the only sister nagging Kim to delete the snap.
“How long until Khloe makes her take it down?” they wondered.
Kim’s shower snap slip-up
It’s not the first time Kim has been called out for posting a controversial snap of herself and Kylie.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took to her social media channels to upload a series of snaps for Kylie’s 23rd birthday, with one in particular catching the eye of TV presenter, Piers Morgan.
“So weird,” he said on Twitter, linking to Kim’s birthday well-wishes to Kylie, which saw them both standing in a shower with white wet T-shirts on.
Fans agreed, saying they also found it strange that she would chose that photo to celebrate her sister’s big day.
“I very seldom agree with you but yeah....very weird,” one person wrote, with another agreeing, calling it “super weird.”
Others didn’t agree, with one person writing: “What's weird? Me and my sister are super close and if somebody paid me thousands and thousands to do shoots like this I wouldn't hesitate.”
Another joked: “Just two women having a shower together in their clothes to save water, cleaning themselves and the clothes simultaneously.”
Kim then decided to delete the photo, however, she has left it up on her Instagram account.
