Who Is Kyle Juszczyk's Wife, Kristin Juszczyk? Meet the Designer of Taylor Swift’s Viral "Kelce" Jacket
San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk has been married to his wife, Kristin Juszczyk, since 2019
Kyle Juszczyk is just as supportive of his wife, Kristin Juszczyk, as she is of him.
The San Francisco 49ers fullback married Kristin in 2019 after the two met when they were living in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2014. Kyle was playing for the Baltimore Ravens while Kristin was finishing up college.
In 2017, Kyle signed a deal with the 49ers, prompting the couple to move across the country. It also sparked a career change for Kristin, who gave up her real estate ambitions to pursue another one of her passions: designing clothes.
She eventually found her niche in creating custom game day outfits for NFL fans as well as fellow wives and girlfriends of athletes. In January 2024, Kristin’s work went viral when she gifted Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes custom puffer coats bearing their partners’ — Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, respectively — jerseys.

Kyle was proud to help promote his wife’s work on social media, reposting the NFL’s videos of Swift in the look and responding to posts on X, plugging his wife’s name.
“Rocking the jacket made by Kristin Juszczyk!!” the NFL pro wrote. In another reply, he reiterated, “Made by my wife!!”
The following day, Kyle spoke to reporters about the "pure joy" he felt seeing his wife get attention for her designs.
“She’s been grinding for years now and working so hard,” Kyle said, standing outside his locker in a video shared by reporter David Lombardi. “I’m so happy to see her get her stuff out there, everybody sees it and recognizes it was hers.”
Shortly after going viral for her game-day threads, Kristin inked a deal with the National Football League, which gives her license to use the NFL’s logos on her clothing.
"My true goal has always been to dress the fans," she told PEOPLE in February 2024 ahead of her husband's appearance in the 2024 Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs, which the 49ers ultimately lost.
So, who is Kyle Juszczyk’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Kristin Juszczyk and her relationship with the professional football player.
She attended Towson University
Kristin was a student at Towson University in Baltimore when she met Kyle. She originally attended the University of Rhode Island before transferring to Towson, where she studied business.
Kristin graduated from college in May 2016, posting pictures of herself popping champagne bottles with her friends on Instagram.
She changed career paths after Kyle joined the 49ers
Kristin originally had plans to be a realtor and had gotten her license in Maryland before Kyle was transferred to the 49ers. At that point, Kristin said, she had to reevaluate what career path she wanted to go down.
“I was really able to look myself in the mirror and be like, ‘Okay, what do you want to do? Do you want to go after real estate? Do you want to take this course all over again?’ ” she told Niners Nation in 2021. “It’s state by state, so I’d have to get my license over here.”
Ultimately, she decided against continuing with real estate and instead decided to pursue her passion for design.
“Most of the members in my family are all entrepreneurs, starting their own businesses,” she said. “I’ve always had the support from my family and inspiration from my dad and his brothers.”
She launched her own fashion brand
In 2018, Kristin launched a clothing brand called Origin. Kristin told Niners Nation that her goal with the company was to create unique pieces that couldn’t be found elsewhere.
“I always say that you don’t go to Origin if you’re just looking for a white tee-shirt and plain leggings,” she said. “You’re going for that signature piece that people ask, ‘Oh my god, where did you get that? That’s so unique.’ That was the overall brand I wanted.”
However, she stopped posting on the brand’s Instagram account in late 2021 and has since moved on to making custom products for NFL fans.
Kyle proposed in 2017
The pair first went Instagram official in January 2015 when Kristin posted a photo with Kyle following a Boston trip. Two years later, on May 27, 2017, Kyle popped the question to Kristin on a beach.
“WE'RE ENGAGED! Still feels like a dream but I couldn't possibly feel anymore love than I do right now!” she wrote on Instagram. “It's a privilege to be able to love you forever @juicecheck44 ❤❤.”
She and Kyle got married in 2019
Two years later, Kyle and Kristin tied the knot on July 6, 2019, in upstate New York with some of Kyle’s 49ers teammates in attendance.
“I married the most beautiful bride inside and out!!” Kyle wrote on Instagram when they got married. “Not a day that I’m with you will go by that I don’t kiss you. This was the best weekend of my life! I never wanted it to end!”
He added that he “happy cried and smiled” more that weekend than he had in the last decade of his life, and was grateful for the energy their loved ones brought while celebrating their special day.
She dresses celebrities like Taylor Swift and Simone Biles at NFL games
Kristin has been creating bespoke 49ers gear for herself for years to wear to her husband's games, but she took her passion to new heights during the 2023-24 NFL season when she launched her Designs By Kristin brand.
On her website's About page, Kristin writes that she rediscovered her love of sewing after making Halloween costumes for her and Kyle, which then led to her creating her own NFL gear by "reworking old t-shirts, jerseys, and even footballs into fresh designs."
Kristin started showing off her designs on Instagram, and it wasn't long before other NFL wives and girlfriends — including Taylor Swift, Simone Biles and Brittany Mahomes — took note.
In December 2023, Biles wore one of her designs while supporting her husband Jonathan Owens, and a month later, Kristin dressed Swift and Mahomes in matching Chiefs jackets.
She is now an official licensee of the NFL, which allows her to legally use the league's logos on her designs. Kristin opened up to PEOPLE in February 2024 about how special the momentum for her fashion career has been after years of hearing "no."
"I've been at this for a few years now, and I've been told 'no' many times or that we just don't have the space for that," she said, while looking back at her first NFL design of a pair of sweatpants and a crop top. "This is something that I've been so passionate about. I feel like there's a huge gap in the market, and I have so many designs that I know women want. It's just a matter of being able to get it out there."
She and Kyle are supportive of each other's careers
Kyle is more than just Kristin’s biggest cheerleader — he is also sometimes her collaborator. Though he may not contribute to the making of the clothes, he has come in useful as a model, Kristin said.
“Kyle’s definitely gotten into fashion a lot since meeting me. He’s been having a lot of fun with it,” Kristin told Niners Nation. “I ask him his opinion on a lot of things, and he’s my model. I always have him try everything on because I need to make sure it looks good on him.”
She added that his motivation in his career has helped her pursue her own dreams as well.
“He inspires me so much because there is nobody I know that loves his job every single day,” she said. “That man wakes up with a smile on his face, and he comes home with a smile on his face...it makes me want to go after my dreams, too.”
After Kristin’s designs started making the rounds on social media, Kyle began tweeting on X letting everyone know exactly who was behind the looks.
In a quote tweet of a video of Swift arriving at the game in the jacket, Kyle wrote, “Arriving in her jacket made by Kristin Juszczyk.” In another quote tweet, he wrote, “She’s an absolute star!”
He spoke to reporters the following day about how Kristin often puts in "20 hours alone" into a single jacket and how sometimes when he wakes up at 3 or 4 a.m. he sees her still up and working.
“I’m so proud of her,” he said. “I think she’s extremely talented, and the things she’s putting out there are one of a kind.”
He added, “I just wanted to make sure she got that credit. At first, the announcers were like, ‘Taylor Swift can get Nike to do anything!’ And I was like, ‘Ahh, come on! We got to let people know this was all Kristin.’ I’m really happy to see her get that credit.”
For her part, Kristin is a regular at Kyle's 49er games — decked out in head-to-toe custom Niners gear, of course.
