The velvet two-seater, which is the only sofa available from the store, caused quite the stir online thanks to it's bright blue colour and the low price of just $159.
Fans in the Kmart Home Decor and Hacks group have shared their excitement over the new addition, with one user writing, "Obsessed with the new Velvet love couch!!" They added, "It actually is [comfortable]! Very soft and spongy."
Someone else wrote, "Looks gorgeous! Our order just arrived today too, we bought two and they are beautiful. Very satisfied with this purchase! They are very comfy … we sat on one of them all afternoon."
Another revealed they had plans to give the sofa a little makeover, "Got mine today, it’s beautiful. Going to paint legs gold!"
However, if you're hoping to get your hands on one, you'll only be able to get the sofa online and it's only available to shoppers in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.
According to the Kmart website, the couch is easy to assemble and can hold a maximum of 200kg.
Shoppers obsessed with $25 jeans
It comes after a pair of $25 jeans from the retailer went viral with customers saying they rivalled much more expensive brands.
The Sculpting Skinny Jeans have a lot of fans with one Facebook user sharing her experience with the item of clothing in a group.
She wrote, "For $25, these jeans rival my $200+ jeans. They're super sculpting, high waisted and tight fitting. Feel really good on! I got the last pair at my local Kmart.”
“I've been living in leggings over iso period, so it's nice to actually wear a pair of jeans that feel like I'm wearing leggings,” she added in the comments.
The praises kept on rolling in with plenty of other women commenting and sharing their own photos of their ‘amazing’ pair.
“I grabbed a pair the other day and was really impressed when I tried them on. I’m a 14 and found the same, no cutting in but sitting firmly. Also huge bonus, not having to pull them up all day long,” another rave review revealed.
Someone else commented, "Hands down the best jeans."
