Kind Volunteer Shares Joys of Taking Bunny-Eared Shelter Pittie for a Day of Fun

The stress of living in a shelter can be overwhelming for many dogs. Thank goodness for volunteers who can offer a little bit of normalcy and a lot of love to help ease their fears. Recently, it was Pit Bull Bounty's lucky day when a volunteer treated the sweet girl to a day out.

In the Instagram video shared by Raven (@zoeandtheboys), the shelter volunteers take Bounty out for a day of fun, and it's the sweetest sight. Take a look!

"It’s a Zoe/Snoop hybrid! Zoe’s twin with snoops ears," the caption begins, referencing her own dogs. "Y’all…we love the Dog for the Day program through @lifelineanimal - the shelters are full! These babies deserve to experience time outside of the shelter, and this program is great for those who can’t commit to fostering/adopting but still want to go love on some shelter pups! Bounty is up for adoption! Someone please go adopt or foster her!"

In the clip, Raven captures a happy Bounty as the two escape the shelter for the day. The first stop is a drive-thru so the 2-year-old pup can enjoy a pup cup made just for her. After that, the two hang out and enjoy their time together.

The sweet scenes really show what a good girl Bounty is. Many of Raven's followers weighed in on the perfect outing.

"I think she's been waiting for you," one person wrote. "I love what you're doing! I'm inspired to check with my local animal rescue and see if they offer a similar program," another said. "She's absolutely precious! And what a little lady while riding in the car," another added.

She's a picture-perfect pup who deserves the world.

Bounty Is Available for Adoption

Like many dogs in shelters waiting to find their forever home, Bounty is still available for adoption through Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta, Georgia (through the Dekalb location).

The shelter has this to say about Bounty:

"Bounty is the best girl! (She's) a bit shy but very sweet, friendly, and engaged with people. She has the most fantastic ears and unusual and beautiful coloring and markings. She's small, has short legs, and a very shiny coat."

"(She goes) easy in/out of the kennel and pulls only a little bit on the leash. (She's) very gentle with treats. She's a very happy girl although the poor thing got spooked by a loud low-flying plane, but we get it! She was happy to be with all of us and loved pets and praise."
