Kim Kardashian-West, 39, has shown just how difficult it can be to get a good photo of your children in a series of images posted on her Instagram account.

The mum-of-four played photographer to her two daughters, North, seven and Chicago, two and the results were really not what she - or they - expected.

“My girls wanted to do a photo shoot together sitting up on this rail. Swipe to the right to see how it ended,” she shared with her 186 million followers.

Spoiler alert: It ended with one of them face down in the mud.

The photos begin with a cute snap of the pair beaming at the camera, but as the montage unfolds, chaos ensues.

By the end of the series of photos, North can be seen running away while Chicago is face down on the grass after falling over.

The cute siblings take on a variety of different poses, which includes North - the oldest sibling - teaching Chicago how to pout.

They’ve learnt from the very best, but Kardashian-West has been relegated to a role behind the camera for this adorable display of sisterly love.

“Omg the cutest EVER!!!!!” Kim’s sister Khloe Kardashian wrote in response to the photos.

Brother Rob Kardashian added: “Omg,” with a range of heart eyed emojis.

As well as the two girls, reality star Kardashian-West is mum to Saint, four and Psalm, one with husband, Kanye West, and regularly posts updates of what she and her family are getting up to.

The pair famously welcomed Chicago in January 2018 via a surrogate.

While the Kardashian-West clan might have moments of silliness in front of the camera, they’re usually pretty well-versed when it comes to taking a good family photo.

Let’s not forget their Father’s Day portrait which saw North wearing a custom look by British-Nigerian designer Mowalola Ogunlesi, alongside her parents who were both supporting the Central Saint Martins graduate.

While the same can’t necessarily be said for the other three children - who seemed mildly pre-occupied with anything but the camera, North owned the cowgirl aesthetic.

The family all went for the ranch theme owing to the fact that the photoshoot took place on their Wyoming ranch.
