It comes days after Sony announced the Playstation 5 and its brand new look.

KFC's 'console', which looks more like an air fryer, claims to have True 4K resolution and 120 frames per second gameplay.

Many users shared their confusion on social media, with one user questioning, "What the hell is even going on right now."

"2020 just keeps getting more interesting," one user wrote.

Another added, "I officially want all consoles to now come with a chamber of chicken."

Someone else wrote, "If this is a joke [I'm] going to go into a [deep] depression."

Unsurprisingly, many fans were quick to question if KFC's news was real or a publicity stunt.

"@KFC is this legit? I need answers," one fan asked.

Another added, "That model? The date? Waaay to much effort was put into this to just be this one-off joke, right?"

Someone else wrote, "You know what, 2020 has been that strange I half expect this to be true."

The video reveals a release date of "11.12.20" which is believed to be December 11 as the account is operated from the UK.

What will actually be announced that day, who knows!
