Kevin and Danielle Jonas Celebrate 15th Wedding Anniversary: 'Every Year with You Gets Better and Better'
The couple tied the knot on Dec. 19, 2009, and share two daughters
Kevin and Danielle Jonas are celebrating 15 years of marriage!
The pair first met on vacation with their families in the Bahamas in May 2007 and eventually married on Dec. 19, 2009, in Long Island, N.Y. To honor their milestone anniversary, Kevin shared three throwback photos from their wedding via Instagram on Thursday, Dec. 19.
"15 years later … feels like this was just yesterday," Kevin captioned his sweet post, which he also shared to his Instagram Story. "Every year with you gets better and better!! I love you, @daniellejonas ❤️."
In the first picture, the newlyweds can be seen smiling arm-in-arm at Oheka Castle, the turn-of-the-century French-style chateau where they said "I do." The bride showed off the back of her strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang gown in the second photo, while her husband hugged her from behind in the third picture.
Their wedding was attended by 400 family members and friends, including Demi Lovato. Kevin's brothers, Joe and Nick, served as his best men. Kevin, then-22, and Danielle, then-23, recited traditional vows and exchanged Jacob & Co. wedding bands they designed for one another.
“We’re so happy that we’re finally married and we were able to share the special moment with family, friends and loved ones,” the couple told PEOPLE at the time of their wedding.
Since then, Kevin, 37, and Danielle, 38, have welcomed two daughters, 10-year-old Alena and 8-year-old Valentina.

Ahead of their milestone anniversary, the couple spoke with PEOPLE and shared their secret to a successful marriage. For the busy pair, it’s no surprise communication is a key factor in maintaining a happy partnership.
"It's about communication," Kevin noted at the time. "If you really come down to it, and we are good and bad at it, we're still learning each other. 15 years, you change, right?"
"It's wanting to work at it," Danielle added, with Kevin agreeing, "I think that's the thing — you have to not be willing to give up."
Danielle also said her spark for her husband is just as bright as ever.
“When he's away, I tell him, 'I hate that I still love you this much,' ” she shared.
