Kerry Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha are shining!
The couple, who are usually private about their relationship, had a glamorous date night at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday.
While walking the red carpet, Washington, 47, flashed a smile as she took a picture of her husband, 42, who was resting on a glass wall as he posed for another camera.
The actor and former NFL player, 42, kept it smart and simple in a classic black tuxedo.
The Scandal alum, meanwhile, was dressed in a black strapless Giambattista Valli gown that had a tulle overskirt. She also wore a diamond choker and matching earrings, with her hair styled into a ponytail.

The pair also took a snap with fellow couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. The model, 38, wore a silver gown that featured floral pieces, while her husband, 45, sported a black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie.
On Instagram, Washington shared a carousel of photos of her stunning red carpet look. “#VFOscars 2024 🖤✨,” she captioned the post that gave fans a closer look at her outfit.
“#Oscars hold ‘em ✨,” Washington wrote in another Instagram post, which captured her before and after glam in a video set to Beyoncé’s country song, “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
The star then reposted everything on her Instagram Stories — and even shared a closeup of her nails and black Christian Louboutin heels.
Washington and Asomugha have been married since 2013. The two share daughter Isabelle Amarchi, who was born on April 21, 2014, and son Caleb Kelechi, who was born Oct. 5, 2016. They also share Asomugha's daughter from a previous relationship.
In 2016, Washington opened up about why she keeps her marriage out of the spotlight.
"Social media has actually been great for [other celebrities'] relationships with the weeklies or the gossip sites because people say things and they say, 'That's not true!' So I'm thinking in some ways, it's been great because people are able to maintain their voice," Washington said on a panel at the SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival at the time. "It's a little different for me because I don't talk about my personal life."
She continued, "That means not only did I not tell you when I was getting married, it also means if somebody has rumors about what's going on in my marriage, I don't refute them, because I don't talk about my personal life."
